Hi, my name is Ripples, I serve as
the welcoming Mascot for the Healing Hands Sanctuary - Iowa.
I came to the Sanctuary when I was just a few weeks old. I was born without
a hip socket.
My two legged Mom at the Sanctuary had the Doc do surgery; where the bone
was shaved off and a socket cut into my hip bone.
I kept being told the Doc had this magic touch, little did I know my first
time of being part of a magic trick, would require healing.
I am feeling much better now, no more pain. They were right. I am all healed up know and ready to
play!
Healing Hands Sanctuary started out
in Virginia. We are a collection of
volunteers that keep the sanctuary running.
There are a lot of out of pocket expenses related to animal rescue
but it is well worth it when you see the animal feeling better and going to
their new families. Don’t forget to

on the way.
